Danbi Education is a Seoul-based edtech company founded in 2016. We build safe, engaging at-home learning experiences that help children develop strong study habits and real skills, supported by teachers and a parent app. Our flagship lineup includes WINK (early-childhood smart learning), Wink Books (expert-curated reading), CATS (platform for academies), and CATS English (AI-powered English for elementary and middle school).
WINK blends level-based digital lessons with printed workbooks so young learners build positive study habits—not just chase right answers. The curriculum spans five levels over roughly five years across Korean (Hangul), Math, and English, created from around 30,000 multimedia assets. Parents track progress in real time in the WINK app.
To keep children safe and focused, WINK uses a patented, purpose-built learning device (“Winkbot”) with an intuitive, child-friendly interface and built-in safeguards that block inappropriate content.Patent: KR Patent No. 10-1923418 (granted Nov 2018).
A unique WINK feature: every page of the workbooks and English storybooks is recognized at the press of a button on the device, which then provides an explanation— making independent problem-solving easier for kids.

CATS is an all-in-one platform for academies, unifying teaching content (multiple subjects), tools for test prep and publication, and operations features—so educators can focus on instruction.

Launched in November 2024, CATS English brings academy-grade curricula home, covering reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Its content includes 2,120 textbooks, 4,783 lessons, and 36,312 subsections (42,000 total units)—from early elementary foundations through high-school preparation.
The program goes beyond lectures with a mastery-learning loop (Warm-up → Recognition → Personalized practice → Evaluation & refinement) and an always-on AI conversation system. Foxly, a child-friendly character, nitiates short, level-appropriate conversations throughout the dayi and offers replay, hints, and translation when needed.
Parents can view real-time progress and conversation logs; “Nyang Points” earned on completion can be redeemed for small rewards, reinforcing self-directed learning.

In the second half of 2024, we localized and launched WINK in Indonesia, reflecting strong local demand for education. The service delivers customized content (English, Math, Indonesian) on a specialized device adapted to the local environment, and continues to expand based on user feedback.
