Alphabet writing practice is done simultaneously with the Wink device and physical workbooks. For children new to English, Phonics Step 1 teaches letter sounds and words. They practice tracing on the learning device, and a separate phonics notebook and workbook are provided for them to practice writing with a pencil in a systematic, step-by-step manner.
